Modern Backyard Masterpiece in Manchester
After completely transforming this property’s front yard and driveway, our team got to work on the extensive backyard renovation for this client.
With stunning views across a marsh of Manchester Harbor, our ultimate goal was to seamlessly integrate a custom gunite pool into the natural setting of the landscape.
To address elevation differences, we used Structure Studios’ 3D design plan, efficiently planning multi-level spaces and optimizing panoramic harbor views.
Meanwhile, we met the client’s brief by designing an above-ground corner pool strategically aligned with the harbor. A pool autocover, operated by a simple switch, regulates temperature, keeps debris away, and ensures safety. While the granite pool deck matches gardens with reclaimed granite curbing.
Creating smaller, intimate spaces within the larger landscape, a pair of Adirondack chairs on a landing of natural stone stepping stones offers a relaxing spot surrounded by lavender and white hydrangeas. As the sun sets, carefully calibrated landscape lighting imparts a subtle glow, adding to the ambiance.
Retracing your steps towards the house, you’ll find a hot tub wrapped in 4” cedar boards, a testament to our carpentry expertise. Adjacent to this space, a pergola, constructed on-site with a mahogany deck, adds a touch of sophistication.
Completing the outdoor ensemble, a custom gas fire table and an outdoor shower are strategically placed near the lower-level living space.
Every element has been meticulously considered to deliver an outdoor space that embodies the essence of summer days in Manchester-by-the-Sea.
