Front Yard Fantasy in Manchester

This newly built home in Manchester-by-the-sea needed an equally grand outdoor space to compliment the stunning seaside home with added curb appeal.

Our team were lucky to work with home owners who were willing to experiment with different plant material throughout their space. The mix of hydrangeas, roses, and boxwoods along the front create a beautiful mix of colors and coverage that will grow in nicely to act as a barrier between the yard and the porch.

Two inviting island beds where installed along the side of their yard, with added boulder features and lighting to accent the mix of viburnum, butterfly bushes, river birch, and hydrangeas. These boulder features were also used in the statement bed at the center of their circular driveway. Our team was careful to choose plants for all seasons with room to change out various annuals depending on the time of year. The potato vine added nice coverage here and the blue salvia brought beautiful color to the space.

Our carpentry team worked with the homeowners to design a custom fence to compliment both their yard and their neighbors fencing. Custom posts were also added with lighting at each driveway entrance to create a statement piece. To finish the front yard, our team installed a wall along the street with a granite driveway entrance and cobblestone borders throughout.

This project has created the perfect inviting entryway to this home and we are excited to continue this project by creating a backyard space featuring a pool, spa, mahogany deck, patio, and many more plantings.
